The Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. (PSM) will be hosting its annual Cluster 2 Symposium with the theme “Harnessing Microbial Innovations for a Sustainable Future” on April 26, 2025 (Saturday). This prestigious event will be held on-site at LPU Cavite Auditorium, Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite CampusGovernor’s Dr, General Trias, Cavite.

Instructions

For UNDERGRADUATE attendees who are non-members you need to sign up on registration.psm.org.ph as a non-member and specify that you are a student on the Cluster 2 form sheet

A list of pre-registered participants will be generated and be given to the venue. Only those names will be allowed in premises.
We will only accept registered participants. Strictly NO Walk-in participants.

Registration  Rates  

On-site 

  • Php 2000 – Non-Member
  • Php 1700  – Member
  • Php 1200 – Undergraduate


*For registered participants: On-site rate includes Lunch , AM and PM Snacks, and Symposium kit

Accommodation

For participants in need of accommodation, we invite you to visit The Bayleaf Cavite. When making a reservation, please be sure to mention that you are attending the PSM Cluster 2 Symposium to take advantage of the discounted rates. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transportation Directions to LPU-Cavite

 Venue: Lyceum of the Philippines-Cavite (LPU-Cavite)

             Governor’s Drive, General Trias City, Cavite

Option 1: Private car via EDSA/C5/SLEX

Option 2: Public Transportation from Cubao or PITX via General Trias/Trece Martires Bus/UV Express

  1. Ride a bus bound for PITX (Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange)*
  2. Ride a bus/UV express going to General Trias or Trece Martires
  3. Get off at LPU-Cavite

 

Option 3: Public Transportation from Cubao or PITX via Dasmariñas Bus/UV Express

  1. Ride a bus bound for PITX (Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange)*
  2. Ride a bus/UV express going to Dasmariñas
  3. Get off at SM Dasmariñas or Robinsons Place Dasmariñas
  4. Take a jeepney to Manggahan
  5. Get off at LPU-Cavite

 

*You can also take the LRT-1 train bound for PITX station

 

Option 4: Public Transportation from Calamba/Turbina via General Trias/Trece Martires Bus/UV Express

  1. Take a jeepney to Calamba/Turbina
  2. Ride a UV express going to General Trias or Trece Martires
  3. Get off at LPU-Cavite

 

Option 4: Public Transportation from Calamba/Turbina via Dasmariñas UV Express

  1. Take a jeepney to Calamba/Turbina
  2. Ride a UV express going to Dasmariñas
