The Microbiology Consortium of the Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. (PSM) in partnership with the Philippine Genome Center Mindanao will be conducting a Bioinformatics Workshop as a preconvention event during the PSM’s 8th Asia Pacific Biotechnology Conference and 50th Annual Convention and Scientific Meeting. The workshop will cover lectures and hands-on training on Introduction to Bioinformatics, Workflow Overview, Quality Control and Assembly, Sequence Alignment, and Phylogenetic Analysis.All registered convention participants may register for the preconvention, but only a limited number of participants will be selected with priority given to students.
