MICRObes are incredible life forms as they are ubiquitous, exist in limitless variety, self-repairing, programmable and require little up-keep. They play many roles in our environment and they hold increDIBLE potential for industry, agriculture and medicine. Application of new technologies is a challenge to unravel the in-creDIBLE potential of MICROorganisms. More of microbial sciences need to be explored to provide new perspective and creative approaches to really unlock the amazing potential of microbes in the 21st century.
