ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION FOR REGISTERED MICROBIOLOGIST to be held on December 2-3, 2017

PAM shall require all examinees to sign a non-disclosure agreement indicating their commitment not to release confidential examination materials or participate in fraudulent test taking practices. The following is the content of the non-disclosure agreement:

NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT This Non-Disclosure Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between you (the “Examinee”) and the PAM (the “Certification Board”) that sets forth the terms and conditions under which the PAM will permit you to register for and take the Certification Exam. In addition to the terms explained below, all of the policies and procedures contained in the PAM Exam Guidelines. I am aware that the PAM Certification Exam is confidential exam and that its contents are being disclosed to me today in a limited context to permit me to test and for no other purpose. I understand and acknowledge the following conditions:

that the PAM is the exclusive owner of all rights in the PAM Exam;
that I have no permission to copy, adapt, or use any part of the PAM exam, including correct or incorrect answers;
that the disclosure, reconstruction and/or copying of any confidential contents of the PAM exam would destroy the value and defeat the purpose of the PAM Exam;
that protecting and preserving the confidentiality and security of the PAM exam ensures the validity of the exam results and the integrity of the admission process;
that I will not discuss or share with anyone any information about the questions, answer choices, or other content appearing on the PAM exam, by any means possible;
that I am also not permitted to possess any confidential information during my exam preparation.

I certify that I have not engaged in such conduct prior to taking the exam and will not engage after the exam. I certify that all information that I provided to the PAM at the time of registration and at any time thereafter was true, complete and accurate. I understand that providing false and misleading information shall be considered a breach of the Agreement. I understand and agree that any violation of this Agreement that may compromise the integrity, validity and security of the exam may lead to an investigation. Failure to fully cooperate in any investigation may lead to the cancellation of my scores, before or after the scores are reported, without a refund and I may be banned from taking the certification exam for a limited time or permanently. I have read and agree to comply with, the terms of this Agreement, including all additional terms and policies set forth in the PAM Guidelines.

Examinees should present to the proctor their examination permit and valid government or company issued ID as proof of their identity.

All personal belongings and electronic devices such as cellphones, laptops, ipads, tablets, and the like, should be surrendered before taking the examination.

The examinees are allowed to enter the examination room 5 minutes before the designated exam time.

The Examinees are not allowed to leave the room during the examination.
