In consonance with its objectives of (a) promoting scientific knowledge in microbiology; (b) stimulating scientific investigations and advancement in the fronties of microbiology and allied fieldsl and (c) contributing to the development of education in microbiology , The Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. (PSM) – Visayas Regional Chapter will hold its 2015 Annual Meeting and Regional Scientific Convention with the theme “Microbiology & Biotechnology: Meeting the Needs of a Changing World” .
