The Department of Science and Technology – National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) will hold the 2015 Science Nation Celebration onDecember 9-11, 2015 at the DOST Compound, General Santos Avenue, Bicutan, Taguig City. The event will show to the public how science and technology is integrated in programs and in various aspects of our lives to achieve progress and inclusive growth. Bannered by the theme “Agham na Ramdam: Science for Every Juan”, the celebration will enable people from all social and economic brackets to see and experience how S&T improves lives.
One of the highlights of the Science Nation-NCR is a Stakeholders’ Summit on December 9, 2015. As one of our partners, we would like to invite you to join us on this day as we present DOST-NCR’s major programs and accomplishments, recognize our cooperating agencies and outstanding technology adoptors, and participate in an open forum with the Secretary.
Aside from the Summit, Bazaar and Exhibits, Science Centrum, Earthquake Simulator and Mobile Planetarium, the 2015 Science Nation will offer an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to tour the DOST Compound and look into the capabilities of offices through the DOST Open House / Agency Tour. DOST’s agencies will open their doors to the public to showcase their respective laboratories/facilities and services as well as various enjoyable activities.
