Proposed Amendments to the PSM By-Laws
Article XII – Meeting, Section 2 and Article XVI – Fiscal Year, Section 1
(For implementation in 2015)
Rationale:
Recently, major universities in the country approved the proposal to shift the beginning of the academic calendar from June to August, effective AY 2014-2015. The new First Semester schedule is August to December and the Second Semester schedule is now, January to May. In view of this, the schedule of the PSM Annual Convention has to be adjusted in order to reach a good number of attendees from academic institutions. Likewise, the PSM fiscal year has to be changed in accordance to this new schedule.
